Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Trimmed and halved

Seasoning and Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use a neutral oil if preferred
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with Pecorino

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  • In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for about 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

These Brussels sprouts make great leftovers and can be reheated. They can be added to pasta, omelets, or served cold in salads. For variations, try different cheeses or add spices as desired.
