Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Creamy Alfredo Tortellini

Ingredients
  

Steak Preparation

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye) cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Tortellini Components

  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Steak Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked to your liking.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  • Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions and drain.
  • Add heavy cream to the skillet, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Add in the cooked tortellini and steak bites, tossing to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Prepare the seared steak and creamy sauce in advance, storing them separately. Combine right before serving. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, adding a splash of heavy cream or reserved pasta water when reheating to maintain creaminess.
